Porsche Unleashed en XP (bron: EARacing.com)
Basically, this is a compatability settings issue:
First off, enter the directory "C:\Program Files\EACom"
right click on the file called "buddy.exe" and scroll down the little menu to the properties tab and left click it and it will bring up a compatibility window:
*Select the compatability tab and select win 98 compatibility then click apply.
*You MUST do the same procedure to "EAAskUpdate.exe" &; "EAUpdate.exe"
If you get a weird error about "autopatch file is corrupt........" enter the directory you installed PU to, and then enter the directory called ".castanet" Delete the entire contents of that directory and copy the contents of the ".castanet" directory from your NFS5 (Porsche Unleashed) CD back into it.
Now run PU and make it go get the update, it should now launch the little program when PU goes back to the desktop, restart game. You should be good to go from here.
