Monitor installeren -> access is denied?

Ik heb zojuist een ASUS V9950 geinstalleerd.
Dit is allemaal voorspoedig verlopen.

Ik merk opeens op dat de monitor op "Plug and Play Monitor" staat, dus deze wil ik vervangen door de monitor driver. (LG F700P)

Wanneer ik dit doe, geeft ie het volgende aan:

Plug and Play Monitor

An error occured during the installation of the device.

Access is denied

In de hardware manager staan 4 monitors:

Default Monitor
Default Monitor
Default Monitor
Plug and play monitor (met een geel uitroepteken)

Heb ik iets over het hoofd gezien?

Een geel uitroepteken betekent toch dat de driver voor de desbetreffende harware, niet goed is geinstalleerd Miscchien ff de 'oude' driver de-installeren en dan proberen je monitor driver te her-installeren...

Ik werk op Windows XP Pro SP1, behoor tot de groep 'Administrators'
en de groep 'Administrators' heeft de rechten 'Load/unload device drivers'.

Tevens heb ik de drivers van twee lokaties geprobeerd, CD-ROM en HD, maar tevergeefs.

Eerst alle Monitors eruit Donderen en dan:

1. Boot up Windows XP.

2. Click the "Start" Button, point to "Settings" and then click "Control Panel".

3. Double-click "Display".

4. Click the "Settings" Tab.

5. Click "Advanced...".

6. Click the "Monitor" Tab.

7. Click the "Properties" button.

8. Click the "Monitor" tab.

9. Click the "Driver" tab and slect "Update Driver"

10. Select "Install from a specific location" and "Next"

11. Select "Don't Search" and "Next"

12. If you are installing from FD insert it into your disk drive.

13. Click "Have Disk...".

14. If you are installing from FD, "Copy Manufacturers File From: A:\".
If you are installing from a file EMailed to you or Downloaded from our Website
then select the folder you extracted the driver information to, eg.
"Copy Manufacturers File From: C:\iiyama\".

15. Click "Show all hardware".

16. Select "Manufacturer: BlaBlaWatUHeeft

17. Select the model name that matches your monitor then click "Next >".

18. Follow the screen instructions to complete the installation.

heb ik "Don't search .." gekozen, en nu wil ie het wel installeren.
