[Excel2000] day of week

bestaat er een functie, als ik een datum zoals 21-07-03 invul, er "Maandag" uitkomt?
In VB kan dat geloof ik met CDOW(), maar in excel kan ik dat nergens terugvinden...

je kunt weekdag gebruiken deze geeft je een getal tussen 1-7 terug welke de dag voorsteld.. Deze kun je dan weer converteren naar de geweste dag.

2. Vraag aan clippy: Day of Week
3. Clippy geeft als suggestie: "Show dates as day of week".
Klinkt interessant.

Select the cells that contain dates you want to show as the day of the week.

Under Category, click Custom, and in the Type box, type dddd for full weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, etc.), or ddd for abbreviations (Mon, Tue, Wed, etc.).

Clippy weet alleen niet precies wat je bedoeld; daarom geeft hij nog 2 keuze opties.

Gaap, Kweet niet hoe jij zoekt, maar na 2 seconden zoeken in excel en '=WEEKDAY("21/7/2003")' stond voor mijn neus.

Maar goed, zie Gorgi_19 z'n post en kijk een ietsiepietse verder dan je neus lang is. Je had natuurlijk ook zelf binnen redelijke tijd een functietje in elkaar kunnen draaien die de dag van de week uitrekent. Hoe dan ook: je hebt je oplossing.

Het is wel de bedoeling dat ik dit in een macro kan gebruiken, en niet in een formule op het werkblad...

D'r zit ook een VBA help in excel.
Dit moet simpel te vinden zijn -> dicht.
