Weet iemand of het mogelijk is om in Outlook Express bij het schrijven van een mail, Word als text-editor te gebruiken. Ik weet dat het in MS-Outlook wel kan, maar is dit ook mogelijk in Outlook Express?

You can't use Word as the 'default' 'new email creator for Outlook Express (part of MS Windows). Outlook Express doesn't have the same integration with Word that MS Office Word does with MS Office Outlook.

You can do use Word to create outgoing email for Outlook Express if Outlook Express is your default mail client you can use File=>Send to Mail Recipient. When you use 'send' from that point the email should show up in the Outlook Express 'sent items' folder.

If you want to reply to or quote text from an incoming email in Outlook Express though you'd usually need to copy it from the OE message and paste it into the Word document.

Word's spell check feature is supported though through the 'normal' email composer section of MS Outlook Express.
