He! wij hebben dat probleem ook, en mijn huisgenoot heeft ff gemailt naar d.net, (half augustus al.. een paar dagen geleden pas antwoord):<BLOCKQUOTE><font size=1 face=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica>quote:</font><HR>Hi there,
I'm a participant of a sub-team of the Dutch Power Cows. I have
noticed a strange thing lately. When I check my block submission at
your stats pages at distributed.net there is quite a difference with
my PerProxy stats generated by PPStats. Over the past 21 days we've
"lost" 18555 blocks. Out of 311K I consider this quite a lot (see
table below). I started to get suspicious and checked out the DPC
forum. It turned out that a lot of people were having the same
problems. I don't think this could be caused by cruching random blocks
because my PerProxy has max. 20000 and min. 10000 keys ready. Nearly
all clients are on line 24/7 and if they are not, they keep enough
keys in their buffers. If any of my clients were to flush duplicates,
which would be stange because they all flush and fetch on my PerProxy,
the PerProxy would filter them out, right? The differences are just a
bit too big to be simlpy coincidence. Do you have any idea's what
could cause this?
Kind regards,
M.P. van Rijn.

work to the master. The work was stored and sent at a later date, around
August 30th. I believe that's what happened in this case. I will be
looking into this further, though.
