[Java VM] Kan niet uninstalled *

Als ik windows Xp opstart krijg ik een foutmelding dat hij Java niet kan opstarten, ik heb m geprobeerd te verwijderen als windows zegt dat ie verwijderd is staat Java nog steeds in software lijst en als ik m dan weer download bij Sun geeft hij aan dat java al is geinstalleert. Ik krijg m er dus niet af

Heb je ook al in de map waarin je JAva heb geinstalleerd gezocht naar een uninstaller? Wellicht bied dat hulp..

Topictitel aangepast, enkel de naam van een programma zegt erg weinig. Maak het de volgende keer aub zelf even af (zie ook het SA policy)

Nevermind. Fixed it myself.
1. Delete the relevant entries in the Registry (This is probably not necessary)
2. Delete the relevant entries under Program Files/InstallShield Installation Information. (Look in the ini files for clues). (This is probably what fixed it.)
3. Run the installation files for the j2re, the latest install first, to install the Java Runtime Environment and run it again to delete it. Then do the same with the earlier install. This would clear all entries out of the Add/Remove Program Files.
4. Now that the computer is cleaned up, install the desired version.
5. Do not forget the next time to first uninstall the current version of j2re before installing another one.

Is dat genoeg?
