Mijn queues zitten nu weer vol maar wat ik binnen heb gekregen toen het zo traag ging is wel bagger. Dus ALT-F in Dspy doen! Ik had 9 bad candidates.

Wat doet ALT-F ?? en hoe zie/merk je dat je bad candidates hebt??

Als ik het goed heb, verwijderd het hulpprogramma Dspy automatisch bad candidates als je op ALT+F drukt. Je weer dus pas dat ze bad zijn als je erop drukt. Correct me if I'm wrong.

All,

Now that things have calmed down and are getting back to normal I have a minute to breath and I want to let you all know what has been going on with our network the last couple of days.

The Rothberg Institute has recently taken over the hosting responsibilities of the D2OL project, which, like the Community TSC Project, was formerly hosted by Sengent Inc. This past Sunday an article was posted on Slashdot.org unexpectedly publicizing the SARS target just released for the D2OL project. The number of downloads of the D2OL client since Sunday have been in the thousands, as opposed to less than 100 that we normally have. This unexpected traffic has put an unbearable strain on our network and I have been working since early Sunday morning to determine exactly what was causing this and what we could do about it.

We have set up download mirrors which have brought the traffic down to current levels and we have a new and much better firewall on the way to us that is being delivered today. I have had offers from people to set up more download mirrors for us and these combined with our new hardware should bring the situation back under control.

I am sorry I was not able to post about this before or that I gave some of our community members the impression that I did not think there was any problem but I have been organizing all of this and I really have not had much time to breathe. I will be back and post any follow-up information that I have. Thank you all for your patience with me during this time.
