        The International School of The Hague is delighted to be opening its primary 
        school section this coming August 2003. We are pleased to add this new 
        department to our already highly successful secondary school. The primary 
        school will initially be for children aged from four to ten. The governing 
        board of The International School of The Hague is the 'Stichting Het Rijnlands 
        Lyceum'.</p>
      <p>The Haagsche Schoolvereeniging (HSV) will continue to work closely with 
        us in the development of international primary education in The Hague.</p>
      <p>Both the primary and secondary departments of The International School 
        of The Hague are subsidised by the Dutch Ministry of Education and accountable 
        to its inspectors.<br>

        We aim to give you some introductory information about the primary school. 
        In the coming months you can keep abreast of developments by continuing

        Fees will be set in line with other Dutch International Primary Schools. 
        We expect fees to be in the region of &euro; 3400, the precise amount 
        to be finalised shortly by the Board of the Rijnlands Lyceum. For further

dank je

, wat betreft die doctypes dat moet ik idd nog allemaal veranderen. ik ben niet degene die deze site gemaakt heeft, maar wel degene die hem verder mag ontwikkelen. ik vind zelf de structuur nogal discutabel maar ik moet het er maar mee doen.

http://www.xs4all.nl/~pulse80/test/home0.html en dan met name het primary school gedeelte. want de andere schooltypes schijnen wel goed uitgelijnd te zijn. ik heb hier helaas (nog geen!) Mac.

ja ik heb het maar van horen zeggen (opdrachtgever kwam ermee) zou het aan zijn browser liggen dan? welke versie gebruik jij?

Lijkt mij een probleem met de verschllende lettertypes, op ie-pc gebruik je arial en helvetica en op de mac bwstaan die lettertypes meestal niet en komt daar verdana voor in de plaats.
Probeer het eens op te lossen met CSS

Was CSS ondersteuning niet een beetje beroerd in IE voor de mac? Of vergis ik me daarin?

hmm, is dat je mening of heb je daarvoor feiten:
in mijn kennis is msie5/mac juist bekend als uitstekende CSS-browser:

enkel op het punt van positionering en floats wil hij nog wel eens dwarsliggen:
verder, veel meer ergerlijk zijn de grote fouten bij document.createElement(), waarvan hele pagina's over hun nek lijken te gaan.

overigens is de crash-bug bij vertical-align definiering en background-inherit via external stylesheets, die msie op mac OSX doet crashen wel een grote misser (waarvan ik paranoide ideeen krijg over MS' programmeer-kunsten voor andere dan hun eigen platform).
Maar dit soort bugs tref je ook op msie/pc aan, en volgens mij is de css-ondersteuning van msie5.5 op PC toch minder te noemen

Als Mac IE 5 niet doet wat ik wil, als mijn pagina's correct zijn en correct worden weergegeven in 2 andere browsers is dat voor mij reden om te zeggen dat de CSS ondersteuning van Mac IE 5 brak is..

Goed, mijn ervaring.
