register your nick to join channel ..maar hoe?

Hoe moet ik mijn nick registreren in mirc , om een bepaalde kanaal te joinen moet ik dat doen..maar ik vraag me af hoe, kan iemand mij helpen?

5) Register and identify you nick

Registering:
On IRC you can register your nickname to prevent others from using it. Registering your nick is recommended so others cant take it. Some channels also require you to register your nick to prevent abuse of the channels.
This is the basic command to register your nick:

/nickserv register password [e-mail]

And of course you replace "password" and "[e-mail]" with your own pass and email.


Identifying.
When you connect to the server with a registered nick. Or when you change your nick to a registered nick, Nickserv will ask you to identify with the right password. This is the password you entered when you did the "/nickserv register" command. If you didnt register the nick and nickserv asks for the pass anyway, then your nick is already taken, you should change your nick if this is the case or nickserv will force you to use another nickname. Identifying for a nick is just as easy as the above command, just type this:

/nickserv identify password

Replace "password" with your password

sommige server ondersteunen /nickserv (en /chanserv en /memoserv) wel (DalNet bijv.),
bij andere (bijv. irc.tweakers.net) moet je '/msg nickserv ' gebruiken...

Maar mocht de TS er niet uitkomen dan zou hij altijd nog een opje in een desbetreffende channel om hulp kunnen vragen...

Dit heeft in principe niets met mIRC te maken. Hoe je je nick moet registeren is vaak wel met de help van de chanserv uit te vinden.
Verder is met wat zoeken dit ook echt wel op te lossen.
