[Debian] Raar probleem met usb muis

Ha mensen.
Ik heb sinds gister Debian 3.0r1 geinstalleerd. Dat ging helemaal goed.
Alleen nu heb ik problemen met m'n usb muis.
De muis wordt herkent tijdens het opstarten van debian, het rode ledje gaat ook branden. Als ik dan x wil starten met 'startx' werkt dat gewoon. Ik zie ook een mouse pointer, maar als ik de muis beweeg gebeurt er niets.
Ik heb al verschillende dingen geprobeerd wat hier op GOT gezegt werd in andere topics. Ook docs/howto's werkte niet voor mij.

Alle modules zijn geladen, ik gebruik een 2.4 kernel.
Verder ben ik niet echt ervaren met linux.

/dev/psaux -> /dev/input/mice

en laad de modules

/dev/psaux is een ps2 muis.
Als je devfs in je kernel hebt zou er een /dev/input/mice kunnen bestaan, zet die eens in je XF86Config.

ja je moet de volgende modules laden via modconf:
input
ohci/uhci (afhankelijk van je chipset)
mousedev
hid
ps/2 mouse
zodra dit is gedaan werkt je muis

Welke merk en type muis heb je ?
Je kunt nemlijk de driver aanpassen.

Ik heb ook zo'n probleem gehad met mijn Logitech Mouseman + Optical.

Zal even moeten zoeken hoe ik dat ook al weer heb opgelost.

Ok.. alle modules geladen op ps2 mouse na, die kon ik niet vinden.
Nu beweegt m'n muis, maar het beestje heeft sterk de neiging om naar links boven te bewegen een daar te blijven..
Ik ga nog ff searchen

Ik zou Emulate3dbuttons uit je XF86Config halen.. iig niet op true zetten.. die heb je echt niet nodig.. das voor hele oude 2 button muizen.

En, zet er ff in:
