ABIT BH7:
Op de website van Abit vinden we de aankondiging van de BH7, een op de Intel 845PE-chipset gebaseerd moederbord dat een FSB van 800MHz ondersteunt. Volgens Abit is de BH7 met dezelfde gedachte als toendertijd de BH6 ontwikkeld: overclocken. De BH7 is uitgerust met Abit's unieke 4-phase power oplossing, iets wat het moederbord voldoende moet stabiliseren tijdens het overclocken. 4-Phase power betekent volgens Abit ook dat de BH7 uit de voeten zal kunnen met de toekomstige 800MHz FSB processors. Geen polonaise voor dit moederbord moeten de ontwerpers bij Abit hebben gedacht; enkel het meest noodzakelijke is geïntegreerd: zeskanaals audio en 3+1 SerialATA.
Uiteraard is de BH7 voorzien van het roemruchte Abit Softmenu BIOS, volgens Abit het originele overclockers BIOS. Waar de meeste moederborden slechts op een paar plekken voorzien zijn van Rubycon condensators, de beste op de markt volgens Abit, is op de BH7 geen enkel ander merk condensators te vinden. Dit ook weer om het moederbord zo stabiel mogelijk te houden bij het overclocken. Met de twee bovenstaande technieken als speerpunt sluit Abit het marketingverhaal over de BH7 af:

De Chipset: Intel 845PE
De i845 is al een vrij lange tijd op de markt. Eind vorig jaar introduceerde Intel drie nieuwe versies van de i845, namelijk de i845PE, de i845GE en de i845GV. De i845PE chipset is op dit moment een hele populaire chipset voor Pentium4 moederborden aangezien hij zeer goede prestaties neerzet. Zoals altijd zijn Intel chipsets zeer solide waardoor je weinig last van onstabiliteit zal hebben.
