[Counter-Strike] Vreemd fps probleem

Hoi again mede-tweakers,

Ik heb al een tijdje het volgende probleem in counter-strike.
Als ik ga rondlopen of gewoon stilsta, dan komt er ongeveer om de 20 seconden een beeldhapering. Dit wil zeggen dat het beeld gewoon 0,5 a 1 seconde stil staat.
Dit is echt hoogst irritant en verveld, zeker als je in een vuurgevecht zit.
Ik heb al geprobeerd of het aan de drivers lag maar dat was het niet volgens mij. Ook heb ik DX 9 geuninstalled met DirectX Buster en 8.1b er weer opgezet.
Volgens mij heb ik ook niets verkeerds op de achtergrond runnen, als ik alles zo'n beetje uitzet heb ik het nog steeds.

Mijn systeem is als volgt:

550 Watt voeding van Q-Tec (dus daar ligt het ook niet aan )
Asus P4t-e I850 Mobo
P4 1,9 Ghz (niet overgeclocked =])
Asus Geforce 3 V8200 Deluxe (40.78 drivers van www.nvidia.com)
Creative Soundblaster 5.1 Live! Player
Microsoft i-net keyboard en logitech dual optical muis

en ik run Windows 2000 Proffesional

Ik heb de search gebruikt maar niets gevonden.

Hmm, apart.
Ikzelf had vorige week ook dat het beeld soms even vast zat, net na een clean Win2k installatie was dat. Ik heb m'n moboChipset drivers geïnstalleerd (Via 4 in 1 in mijn geval), waarmee het probleem is opgelost.
Als je dat nog niet hebt gedaan, doe jij dat ook eens, alleen dan geen Via

Hiervoor speelde ik met plug en play monitor en dat werkte heel goed. Via 4in1 drivers heb ik net gereinstalled, het is volgens mij iets minder geworden maar nog niet zoals het was.

Vsync staat aan, en dat hou ik ook zo want anders wordt het echt lelijk. fps is goed alleen soms staat het beeld gewoon stil. Dan zou je dus kunnen zeggen dat ik 1 fps per second heb =]
Servers ligt het niet aan, ik hang niet (zoals bij lag), mijn beeld staat gewoon helemaal stil

Ook bij cs? want ik kreeg bij deze drivers bij b.v. de_aztec drops naar 30 fps

euhm niet dus:



het ligt dus niet aan de drivers aangezien deze drivers op bijna hetzelfde systeem het goed doen. Monitor drivers ligt het niet aan.

Na een reinstall van DX 8.1 heb ik geen fps drops meer (dus constant 100 fps), maar nu heb ik weer dat om de 10/15 seconden het beeld 0,5/1 sec stil staat!
