[WIN2K server] meldingen in de event viewer

Moraal van het verhaal.

Een win2k domein, met 3 dc's verspreid over 2 site's.

Ik heb 1 DC (die toevallig de eerste was van het domein, en daarbij PDC emulator/schema master is/heeft) waar het het application logboek wordt vol gespoelt met bepaalde meldingen.

Zoals bijv. deze

Deze 3 komen elke 5 minuten voorbij.

Natuurlijk heb ik de KB van microsoft doorzocht, en dan kom ik uit op het volgende:

een heel indrukwekkend artikel, waar je heel wat dingetjes moet doen (ivm replicatie domain controller policies).

Maar je raad het al, HET WERKT NIET.

wie o wie kent dit?

heb je met repladmin je replication al bekeken. en met replmon? Dit lijkt sterk op een replicatie probleem tussen de sites.

en je hebt onderstaande stappen ondernomen?

CAUSE
This issue occurs if the local Group Policy database file is corrupt.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use the procedure described in this section to re-create the local Group Policy file.

NOTE: When you use this procedure, your computer is returned to the original installation state; the Local Security Policy is not defined.

IMPORTANT: Before performing these steps on a Domain Controller, create a backup of the SYSVOL share. There has been an unconfirmed incident where the Default Domain Controller policy was reset when applying these steps.
Open the %SystemRoot%\Security folder, create a new folder, and then name it "OldSecurity".
Move all of the files ending in .log from the %SystemRoot%\Security folder to the OldSecurity folder.
Find the Secedit.sdb file in the %SystemRoot%\Security\Database folder, and then rename this file to "Secedit.old".
Click Start, click Run, type mmc, and then click OK.
Click Console, click Add/Remove Snap-in, and then add the Security and Configuration snap-in.
Right-click Security and Configuration and Analysis, and then click Open Database.
Browse to the %SystemRoot%\Security\Database folder, type Secedit.sdb in the File name box, and then click Open.
When you are prompted to import a template, click Setup Security.inf, and then click Open.

Ik zou eerder naar die event 454 kijken, die veroorzaakt namelijk event 1000 weer...

BackSLash. dat staat onderaan het MS article wat ik gepost heb ook al. Daar staat ook de oplossing alleen die schijnt bij dit specifieke geval niet te werken ik denk dat Arjo_Kamp er goed aan doet MS gewoon te bellen mits het natuurlijk legale versie enzo betreft. Dan kunnen die boys het probleem aan gaan pakken en weer nieuwe solution op technet posten ;D

Zou kunnen, maar arjo_kamp haalt alleen wel een ander artikel aan, dus het zou kunnen dat die van jou wel werkt...
