After more than a month of searching, I finally found a bug in the CLI/Service code that can cause network communication issues under special conditions.

The symptom is that operation while unable to access the server for extended lengths of time can result in complete loss of network connection for all applications, until the CLI/Service is closed.

The actual fault is when the CLI/Service accesses the server in an attempt to update the stats without doing so as the result of having found a DP. This typically will only happen on slower computers that require more than an hour to find a DP value. When this event happens, a socket is opened and never closed. Enough of these events can exhaust the system resources as regards to available sockets - which prevents any application from opening a network socket.

Het gaat dus om versie CG en je kunt 'm hier neerhalen. Het enige wat mij opviel is dat in de GUI van Jeff (versie 0.8) nog steeds versie CF wordt aangegeven...niet dat het wat uitmaakt .

Jeff's GUI zegt weldegelijk CG als je je CLI hebt geupdate (wel ff opnieuw starten waarschijnlijk)

Jeff haalt volgens mij de versie die je gebruikt uit je .SNT file. Dus pas na een verzonden DPtje (plus misschien de restart), zal dat ge-update worden.

Jahoor, als je eerst de draaiende client ff afsluit. Inclusief de service.
