[Outlook Express & AnalogX Proxy]

Ik heb mij internetverbinding gedeeld met Proxy van AnalogX. Dat gaat allemaal goed: IE, Kazaa, Trillian, noem maar op. Ik kan alleen met Outlook Express geen mailtjes ontvangen, verzenden kan wel.
192.168.0.1 belt in met Planet
192.168.0.142 maakt via 192.168.0.1 verbinding

Instellingen in Proxy:
email alias: [e-mail] met pop.planet.nl en mail.planet.nl

0.142
Outlook Express: POP3 en SMTP servers staan beide op 192.168.0.1

Verzenden kan dus wel, via webmail gecontroleerd: ze staan ze keurig in mijn Postvak IN. Ophalen lukt niet:

Zonealarm uitzetten heeft geen effect.
Oh ja: ik ken het knopje Search

vul op die 0.142 ook 's gewoon pop.planet.nl & mail.planet.nl in, ik neem aan dat je geen mailserver draait op de 0.1 ?? dus moet je gewoon direct met planet communiceren.

Uit de README van Proxy:
Now you need to set up the configuration of the email program you use; this
varies from program to program, but you need to go to wherever you enter both
the servers that the program checks. Now, instead of entering 'mail.domain.com'
or whatever your mailserver is, you'll enter the IP address of your proxy
server, such as '10.0.0.1'. It's important to note that you won't need to
change the port settings in the email program, since the proxy uses the same
ports a normal server would. Also, you will set both the SMTP, as well as the
POP3 servers to the same IP address; the proxy will make sure they get to the
correct place. Now, let's check out your configuration; try sending an email
to yourself... If everything is configured properly, they you should be good
to go!

Dus dat moet wel.
Bovendien, als ik de normale servers intyp krijg ik:
Kan de host pop.planet.nl niet vinden. Controleer of u de naam van de server juist hebt opgegeven. Account: 'Planet', Server: 'pop.planet.nl', Protocol: POP3, Poort: 110, Beveiligd(SSL): Nee, Socketsfout: 11001, Foutnummer: 0x800CCC0D

Dus hij kan er helemaal niet bij. Da's nog minder dan een timeout

Hmm, je mailpoortjes gewoon doorgeven (110 & 25) naar het hele netwerk in AnalogX. Je moet in AnalogX wel instellen op die mailservers als ik mij goed herinner en je kunt dan geen ander accounts gebruiken of zo. Die kunnen ook aan en uit gezet worden. Ping es gewoon naar 1) het ip-adres en 2) het dns-adres. Je ziet het verschil dan en als dat beide lukt moet je gewoon de poortjes doorgeven ipv onderscheppen

Er valt in Proxy helemaal niets in te stellen aan poorten. En aan doorgeven of onderscheppen al helemal niets.
