Internationale IP Ranges

Weet iemand waar ik kan vinden welke ranges van IP-Adressen uitgegeven worden per land en/of regio. Ik wil mijn website alleen toenankelijk maken voor Nederlanders, dan moet ik wel weten welke ranges ik moet toelaten c.q. uitsluiten.

Er zijn geen echte Nederlandse IP-ranges, je zou echter de IP-ranges van Nederlandse providers kunnen gebruiken, maar dan sluit je weer bedrijven uit die hun IP betrekken van internationale organisaties e.d.

Dat wordt erg moeilijk. Ik weet niet hoe het precies zit, maar ik denk dat UPC bijvoorbeeld 1 grote range heeft geregistreerd onder haar bedrijfsnaam in de USA en deze over meerdere landen gebruikt. (Chello wordt in in meerdere Europese landen gebruikt).

Verder kan ik me voorstellen dat bijv. Tiscali's hoofdkantoor in Italie een hele reeks registreerd en intern kleine beetjes uitdeelt aan de kantoortjes in de afzonderlijke landen.

Naast Tiscali (Italiaans) en UPC (Amerikaans) heb je ook nog Compuserve (Amerikaans), Wanadoo (Frans), @Home (Amerikaans - maar volgens mij geheel zelfstandig na faillisement Amerikaanse @Home), en er zijn vast nog wel een aantal grote providers die hun IP ranges wellicht ergens anders verkrijgen.

Verder is het een ondoenlijke taak om bij te houden welke IP adressen wel, en welke niet mogen worden toegelaten. Er zijn dagelijks veranderingen op IP gebied, hetzij een bepaalde wijk van een kabelmodem provider die een andere range krijgt toegewezen, hetzij nieuwe abonnee's die in een compleet nieuwe range worden gezet, hetzij bedrijven die uitbreiden, hetzij.... nou ja het is eigenlijk dus niet mogelijk tenzij je elke dag een uur wilt besteden aan het updaten van zo'n lijst.

Verder zou je op deze wijze bijv. buitenlandse bedrijven uitsluiten die een aantal vestigingen in Nederland hebben (en dat zijn er nogal wat) en die hun IP diensten via het grote bedrijfsnetwerk in bijvoorbeeld de USA betrekken.

En dan heb je nog steeds de pakweg 4 miljoen Nederlanders en oud-Nederlanders die in het buitenland wonen (yours truly) waarvan een grote groep eigenlijk relatief vlakbij de grens wonen (zoals in Belgie of Duitsland) om werk redenen, of simpelweg omdat het goedkoper is (huizen zijn veel goedkoper in Duitsland bijvoorbeeld) en nog steeds een zeer sterke band hebben met Nederland (en er dus ook nog geld uitgeven)

Ik denk dat je door de site in het NEDERLANDS op te stellen het beste resultaat bereikt Immers, er zijn ongeveer 25 miljoen Nederlands sprekenden ter wereld - (16 miljoen Nederlanders, 5 of 6 miljoen Vlamingen, en 3 tot 4 miljoen andere Nederlands sprekenden (denk aan Suriname, Antillen, en een paar miljoen emigranten die over de afgelopen 50 jaar zijn vertrokken) ) en ik kan uit ervaring vertellen dat de gemiddelde Amerikaan GEEN WOORD Nederlands kan lezen noch verstaan. En dat zal ook gelden voor een Fransman of Italiaan

Verder ben ik inderdaad erg benieuwd waarom ik als Nederlander in Amerika niet op deze site zou mogen komen? Om wat voor site gaat het?

Ik doe voor zulke dingen een query op de whois-servers. Als het ip uit COUNTRY: netherlands komt, dan cached hij 'm in een file (doet hij nooit meer een database-lookup) en komt hij dus uit nederland.

Dit is niet water dicht, maar komt een heel eind.

Ik ben nog steeds erg benieuwd welke website alleen die Nederlanders mag trekken.... ik zie dat op vangorsel.nl in ieder geval een paar hele knullige taalfouten en andere fouten staan
