KaZaa (2.02) crashed Explorer

Ik gebruik windows 2000 sp3.

Als ik KaZaa (2.02) start kan ik daarna niet meer de windows eplorer of IE gebruiken.

Toevallig vorige week mijn laptop opnieuw geinstalleerd en weer hetzelfde probleem.

Klinkt dit bekent ?

Ik weet niet of je zelf al moeite hebt gedaan maar...

I found out what the problem was, well at least i found out how to fix it...it has something to do with mcafee virus scan, depending on what version of mcafee you have it will be different for you, anyways, double click the mcafee shield in the toolbar (the one in the lower right by the clock), if you have mcafee 4.5, the background scanning options should come right up, just click properties, for 6.0 you have to click "pick a task" at the bottom, then "change virus scan settings", then "configure background", then "customize vshield settings", for both versions, select system scan and enable system scanning plus click advanced and enable heuristic and macro scanning, for email scan enable scanning of attachments and click advanced and enable heurustic anc marco scanning, for download, enable it and click advanced and enable same option as above, for internet filter, enable java and active x, and the last step (i have mcafee 6.0 and i dont think this applies to 4.5) click hawk and enable it. im assuming that you have not messed with these settings before because i pretty much accepted all of the defaults..now i know that all of this did not have to be done to fix the problem with the internet, but those are my settings and IE works now, if you have the time and patience, you can change all of those settings and find out which one it is that will make IE not work. hope this helps, let me know if you need some more help [e-mail]

Daar zou je achter kunnen komen door een topic te starten, maar het is natuurlijk veel leuker om dit alvorens je een topic start, even op te zoeken via google en/of google groups, misschien dat dat al enig inzicht verschaft in je probleem.

Opzoeken is een ding, maar dit vermelden in je topicstart is twee. Dat is wat er een beetje aan schort in je topicstart.
