Hello,
After waiting since mid december for my PowerADSL to be enabled I finally got news (after maaaaaaany calls to Xs4all) last week.
Since then, no luck.
I'm using an E-tech modem/router (blue/analog) and I just can't see any traffic coming back from BBned.
ADSL connectivity seems to be up, as I have a showtime and the syslog says that DSL is up. (see logs at the bottom)
Nothing after that, I don't get an IP number and of course Xs4all does see my modem trying to initiate an PPP session on their logs.
The weird thing is that I see traffic going out, but nothing coming in !
The E-tech documentation seems to be wrong as well, they sugest 1483 bridged IP LLC rather that PPPoA.
I used the same router with a 'regular' ADSL subscription with Xs4all/MXstream and it worked. (with different setting)
I even bought (and gave back...) a Trust ADSL modem just to check, and I had the same problem with the other modem: no traffic coming in ....
I tried with and without splitter (Alcatel) but still no luck...
Has anyone experienced the same issue ?
Anyone out there with an E-tech/BBned combo ? (even though I doubt it's the modem)
I'm just tired to tell 200 times the same story to xs4all, they never call me back, they bounce me from service to service, I can't talk to BBned directly ;-(
Heeeeeeeeeelp :-)
