Een al veel besproken zaak hier en ik weet ook dat dit onderwerp op het randje ligt. Maar ik moet dit toch even kwijt. Ik heb de originele windows XP Pro draaien op mijn laptop. Die heb ik nu dus ook op mijn desktop gezet, maar dan krijg ik dat activation gezeik en mijn code is natuurlijk nu al in use.
Ik heb al meerdere keren de veelbesproken oplossing hier vermeldt geprobeert:
Here's how to change the Product Key in Windows XP, if you need to
change it for any reason, such as inserting a new corp key from the XP
Keygen to prevent getting blacklisted on the FCKGW corp key when
Service Pack 1 is released:
Change Product Key without Reinstall:
1. Run regedit and go to: HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft
\WindowsNT\Current Version\WPAEvents, on the right double click on
"oobetimer" and change at least one digit of this value to deactivate
windows.
2. Choose run from start menu and type in this command:
%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a to get the activation screen
and go to the second option which is activate by phone .
3. In the new screen choose the option to change product key, and type
in the new product key (Corporate one only). Press update
4. Close that window, reboot your system and enter the command in step
2 for the second time to verify your activation , you should see
"windows is already activated".
Maar bij de een corporate serial in stap 3 invoeren gaat het mis, want dan zegt hij altijd retry na dat ik update zeg. Dit heeft nooit gewerkt.
Ik zou graag een oplossing willen om windows XP hier draaiende te houden, voor mij hoeft hij hier niet eens te kunnen updaten, als het maar draait.
Maar microsoft heeft het blijkbaar weer geflikt met hun acties om juist mensen met de orginele XP Pro ipv. de illigale corporate keihard te naaien. Bedankt bill...
