[SAMBA] "path too deep"

hallo,

ik heb een netwerkje en daarin een server waar Redhat 7.3 op draait met samba. Deze server draait tevens apache en via netwerk shares wil ik mijn html's kopieren naar de /html/ directory van Apache.

Maar als ik dat probeer (gewoon met windows explorer) dan krijg ik een vage error:

"Cannot copy xxxx: The path is too deep"

Maar als ik files per stuk kopieer (ipv per hele directory, dat is toch wel wat makkelijker/efficienter), dan geeft ie alsnog de error, maar wordt die file uiteindelijk wel gekopieerd.

Ik heb geen idee wat ik hiermee moet, ligt het aan de configuratie van SAMBA?

Gebeurt dat ook met een andere Commander - achtige Filemanager?

Windows Verkenner is een onding als het om filemanagement gaat.
(geen skip-retry-abort optie, kapt er gewoon mee zonder aan te geven waar, wanneer en waarom).

* The Jester vreest dat je . corrupted is, ofwel huidige directory.
Check eens met Midnight Commander (of onder windoze met een DOS-prompt) en let op of er ipv een punt een extended ASCII caracter staat. Is dat het geval, dan heb je een looping directory (die dus iedere keer naar zichzelf wijst) en dan krijg je dus een infinite-depth.

Probleem daarmee, is dat je de directory ook niet weg kan pleuren.
Het enige dat soulaas biedt is in dat geval een disk-editor. Gebruik die wel uiterst voorzichtig en NA een backup van de rest!!
