Someone has posted reply by Gooseman to an e-mail about the new models. Here's what he says:

I will definately address the player model issue. I'm not too happy the way they removed my death animations and my flinching animations so I'll like to re-add those in CS 1.1. I actually dont mind the models too much, I think they're very detailed.. but for those who liked the older models (mine), I'll probably release a version of those that work with CS 1.1 as well.

CS 1.1 already? Well, if that wasn't damn soon. The only other thing known about CS 1.1 is that it's likely to include cs_thunder, from Barney.

Wat ik op zich wel netjes vind, is dat ze per update heel veel dingen veranderen om te kijken hoe men erop reageert. En als het dan crap blijkt te zijn dan herstellen ze de fouten ook weer heel snel.
