[WINXP]Mislukte Slipstream

Ik heb mij WinXp Corporate geprobeerd te slipstreamen. Dit ging goed, todat ik hem ging testen. Ik had totaal geen problemen met de stappen die ik moest volgen. Ik had de stappen gevolgd van de site:

Als ik hem dan vanuit DOS wil installeren wil de cd niet booten. Ik heb de Boot Device zo in de BIOS ingesteld:
First Boot Device Floppy
Second Boot Device CDROM
Third Boot Device HDD-0

Als ik dan wil booten krijg ik de volgende melding:

Vervolgens heb ik de "Windows Xp Setup-Opstart-Diskettes" gedownload. Dat zijn 6 diskettes waarmee je vanuit DOS opstart en daarmee de setup start. En daarna (na de 6 diskettes) leest hij de setup verder vanaf de cd. Heb ik dus gedaan en vervolgens krijg ik weer een foutmelding. Dit is de deze:

Setup kan niet doorgaan, druk op F3 om Setup te beeindigen.

Kan iemand mij precies vertellen waaraan het ligt?

Kijk eens welke serial er in die corperate versie van jou zit gebakken... Het lijkt wel of ie problemen heeft met de SP1 install.

heb je daar wel naar gekeken?
nero heeft moeite met het juist branden van de bootsector van XP.

als je de FCKGW versie hebt is het nodig dat je eerst een geldig serienummer vindt, maar ja dat moet je zelf maar ff zoeken op google of zo.

dan kijk je of dat serienummer werkt. het beste is om dat even te controleren door XP opnieuw te installeren en dan serienummer in te egven, als setup dan doorgaat klopt t.

deze link voor slipstreamen wertk wel en ook de bootfile is goed.
controleer van te voren wel even of t serienummer werkt en pas ook de goeie key toe voor windows XP corp (devilsown)

heb xp opnieuw geinstaleerd met de corporate serial duz niet die FCKGW. Doet het gwn.

visch die link die je gaf schijnt bij mij niet te werken. Of moet je dan die cd opnieuw fikken, want ik heb nero der nu weer van af gaan flikkeren. Wil heel windoos er opnieuw opzetten maar dan wel graag met de gesliptreamde cd.

pak een CD-RW en probeer het eens opnieuw, die boot CD maken. Er zijn zoveel dingen die je exact goed moet intypen, dat een foutje maken niet zo vreemd is.

Als je een corporate versie heb krijg je de cd met sp 1 geslipstreamd gewoon naar de zaak gestuurd.

Voor zover ik weet stond op de genoemde site ook een registry edit voor Nero (oudere versies), waardoor het wel goed zou gaan. Volgens mij kan het daaraan liggen.

Even een aanvulling, zorg er ook voor dat je het slipstream "resultaat" bestand (onder Win2K heet dat sp3test.cat of iets dergelijks) ook meeneemt met je Cd-image. Anders krijg je na het booten vanaf CD dat er wordt gevraagd naar de SPx CD.

En als ik dan toch deze cd in de cd-rom duw en dan reboot. Heb ik wel een beter teken, want nu wil hij wel de cd lezen. Ik krijg dan de volgende melding:

Druk op een toets als u de computer vanaf de cd-rom wilt starten...
Ik druk dus op een toets maar dan blijft hij hangen. Achter "cd-rom wilt starten..."knippert wel die "_" Dus dan is hij aant denken, maar dat duurt toch erg lang en veel cdlees-activitiet is er echter ook niet.
Ken iemand dus de fout eruit halen. Wil een clean install.

Wat ik totaal niet snap is dat je 'm de iso laat wegschrijven in je \%userprofile%\temp dir...

Laat 'm eens alleen een ISO builden in een andere partitie, dus niet gelijk wegbranden.
De iso kun je daarna met nero of EZCDC branden, of met isobuster doorpluizen.

Er zit ook vershil tussen de diskettes van SP1 en de normalen versie hoor...!!!!

De ENGELSE PRO diskettes volgens mij is dat die... je kunt de taal zo wijzigen aan de rechter kant.

Je hebt hm toch al geslipstreamd... Dan boot je dus van deze disks.. En dan install je hm van cd.. logisch toch? of je moet je cd bootable maken met bv Nero...

Ja ik heb die cd geslipstreamd met de bovengeven site. Maakt hem schijnbaar bootable, maar de cd mislukte. Vroeger moest ik ook altijd die setup-opstartdiskettes gebruiken. Nu is mijn vraag of ik bijvoorbeeld ook de files van de setup-sp1-opstartdiskettes ken plakken in de winxp+sp1 installatie. Dan hoef ik niet elke keer 6 diskettes in te douwen.
Of dat iemand uit de informatie die ik boven heb gegeven van het brandprocess waar het eventueel aan zou kunnen liggen.

RamShackle ik ga ze nou downloaden. Heb ik ze alvast, Bedankt. Ken niet ik heb thuis alleen Phoenix. En dan ken hij hem schijnbaar niet downloaden.

Als ik Win2k of WinXP slipstream met een service pack dan doet mijn windows update het niet meer, dit terwijl de installatie gewoon perfect gaat.

Vreemd. Splipstreamen gaat bij mij ook goed maar de rest gaat allemaal wat minder vooral het bootable maken. En dan de setup vanuit DOS goed werkt.

'k heb gisteren ook een slipstream gemaakt van SP1 (incl. gepatchte UXTHEME.DLL ), ook volgens bovengenoemde site, op een CD-RW. Eerste keer ging niet helemaal goed, maar na een tweede keer proberen ging het wel goed, althans ik kan de cd lezen. Of hij ook goed boot moet ik nog uitproberen, laat ik vanavond wel ff weten.

Ja maar de eerste keer ging bij mij ook fout. Hij boot wel, maar hij mist bestanden omdat het branden mislukt was. Ga ook een RW halen. Verneuk zo veel te veel cd's. Maar laat het maar weten. UXTHEME.DLL stop ik er ook in.

Heuj heuj heuj. Het is gelukt. Ik had dus eerst een iso gemaakt op de volgende wijze [x]:\bcd\bcd wxppro -b. Ik zie alleen dat de autostart er niet bij ziten nog meer bestanden. Namelijk:

*de map DOCS

Autorun heb ik erbij gestopt om de automatisch op te kunnen starten. Leesmij en de map Docs ook. Kan altijd nog van pas komen, maar ik weet me god niet wat ik met Setupxlg.txt moet. Deze bevat het volgende:

Had alles van mijn pc afgegooit. Een nieuwe winxp_pro gemaakt en toen andere mappen erbij gezet en weer gebrand. Dan bijft hij hangen bij het boten. Je moet dat duz in de map zetten voordat je een iso gaat aanmaken.

MMm ik heb een probleempje want nero wil die iso niet pakken en easy cd creator wel. Snap er nix meer van. Ik heb dit allemaal bij mijn maat gedaan, maar dies nu in antwerpen draaien duz ken maandag avond pas weer zeggen of het gelukt is. Zal ik daar wel easy cd creator opzetten en dan de iso branden want ik weet niet hoe dat in nero moet. Misschien iemand een idee?

Aahhhggr weer mislukt bah bah. Ik had nu de ISO gwn gemaakt maar ik had dat al met een geslipstreamde cd gemaakt. Daarna open image in Nero en dan branden. Booten en zo doet hij gwn, maar na harware configuration bij het opstarten van de cd geeft hij naar een tijdje een zwart beeld te hebben gehad de volgende fout:

INF bestand txtsetup.sif is beschadigd of ontbreekt. Status 32768.

Setup kan niet doorgaan
Druk op een toets om het installatieprogramma af te sluiten.

HET IS GELUKT. WIEHOE.
Ik heb dus gwn alles gezegd wat op http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/#wxp staat
alleen als laatste bij het uitvoeren de parameter -b erachter gezet zodat hij alleen de ISO brand. Gwn gebrand met Easy CD Creator en klaar is kees.

Maakt het trouwens uit dat hij zegt dat UXTHEME.DLL beschadigd is?

In het begin bij het slipstreamen ging alles goed, behalve bij het stoppen van de CD-ROM in de Cd-speler. Bij het kopiëren gaf hij allerlei fouten. Mist dat bestand of is beschadigd. Ok, opnieuw gedaan en dan zegt hij weer dat hij wat anders mist. Even MASTER en SLAVE omgewisseld en toen deed hij het wel. Cd-speler was dus gewoon rot.

Ik kreeg nog wel de volgende waarschuwing/opmerking toen ik windoos installeerde.

Eerst dus een paar keer ENTER ingedouwt, maar hij blijft dezelfde foutmelding geven. Vervolgens heb ik maar op ESC gedrukt. Maakt dat nix uit die waarschuwing, omdat ik UXTHEME.DLL uit I386 heb gehaald en de gehackte versie ervan heb in gestopt. Of betekent dit nu dat ik hem na het instaleren er opnieuw op moet zetten? Hij bevindt zich echter wel in C:\WINDOWS\system32.

Als je nu een unattended installation maakt voor je WinXp, dan kan je op het einde nog kiezen welke comands windows nog uit moet voeren. Bij mij nu netwerkprinter installeren enz...
Nou vroeg ik mij af of ik dit meteen kon doen voor bijvoorbeeld de services weg te gooien / uit te schakelen. Dit zou namelijk wel handig zijn.
Op de site van Black Viper staat uitleg over de services. Ken je uitzoeken welke je wilt hebben en welke je niet nodig hebt dusRemoven Dit scheelt een hoop MB ram geheugen Ik heb niet zon snelle pc dus alle kleine beetjes helpen.
Mijn vraag was nu of ik dit ook kon slipstreamen in de cd.

Dit is niet wat ik bedoel. Slipstreamen en unatended maken kon ik allang.
Ik vroeg mij echter af of je ook een batch-file erin kon bakken, zodat hij automatisch bij WinXp
de services uit zet en verwijderd, die je toch niet nodig hebt

Ik maak nogal vaak een schone installatie aan en drm wil ik ook alles in één.

Dat wat ik hierboven heb gepost is van TECHNET
Maar ik vroeg mij af of die in de Windows Cd te slipstreamen is.
In de unattended installatie kan je commando regels bijvoegen.
Als ik die regels allemaal intoets voor de verschillende services, of batfiles op de cd's zet,
is het dan mogelijk om deze services meteen te disabelen

Dan hoef je dat niet naar iedere clean install te doen

commandline optie gebruiken in setupmgr en daar je batch in douwen die alle opdrachten uitvoert.
(bij mij doet-ie een unattended IE6sp1 install en acrobat reader)
