Waarschuwing nieuwe versie Yaha

Ik krijg nu al tig mailtjes via hotmail van "Watch this screensaver!!!" etc... Ik vertrouwde het niet echt, maar de hotmail-scanner zegt niets. Maar nu vind ik op virusalert dat er een nieuwe versie van Yaha is. Ik zou het maar even doorlezen wat voor mailtjes je nu weer in overvloed kan aantreffen

Ik krijg ook ontzettend veel mailtjes de laatste tijd die ik verdenk dat ze virusdragend zijn.
Ik gooi ze gewoon weg .. ze vallen namelijk best wel op.

Even een kleine kick:

Dankzij m'n zusje had ik hier dat virus ook. Ik merkte het eerst niet, omdat ik deze standaard verschijnselen van Yaha niet had (exe-bestanden niet kunnen uitvoeren). Het grote probleem is dat elke dinsdag je mijn documenten wel wordt weggegooid!
Ook heb ik al 2 vrienden van me gemailt dat ze het virus hebben (ondanks dat ze toch redelijk verstand van pc's hebben) en dat ze er echt iets aan moeten doen.

Dus iedereen kijk even in je taaklist of je één van de onderstaande programma's ziet:

k ontvang van sophos zowat dagelijks een aantal meldingen over nieuwe virussen

jips, ik had ook het virus, Norton AV en Outlook Express, allebei gaven ze geen waarschuwing dat het een YaHa virus was.

na een paar registry-edits heb ik het virus handmatig kunnen verwijderen.

gelukkig is het een tamelijk oud virus, en dus redelijk bekend...komt nog bij dat het virus niet echt schadelijk is....alleen vet irritant

Inderdaad herkende Norton em gister nog niet (nu wel?)
Maar aangezien ik 20 e-mails binnenkreeg met (ongeveer) dezelfde .scr was t wel duidelijk.

Nee, deze virus stuurd gewoon van de afzender en veranderd niets aan de header.

Ja, het is wel een tamelijk oud virus, maar het gebruikt wel een paar nieuwe snufjes. Ook is hij wel schadelijk!

De norton blokkeerd alles naar de quarantaine-map, dus die kunnen niet gescanned worden

Ik heb dit virus dus ook sinds gisteren (bedankt zus ). Ik baal hier enorm van want mijn virusscanner (nortono 2003) werkt niet meer en hij probeert zichzelf door te mail, erg agressief vaak. dit virus is WEL DEGELIJK gevaarlijk!!! weet je hoeveel mensen er inmiddels mee besmet zijn - er zijn verschillende tools waarmee je dit virus kan gebruiken voor een DDoS-aanval!

Wordt nog leuk... allemaal van die kabelkindjes uit de stad.. er krijgt binnenkort iemand Gbits op zijn donder en vervolgens hebben weer de AIX plat o.i.d.

Een PCgebruiker met bovengemiddelde PC kennis heeft geen hulp nodig voor het herkennen met virussen, helemaal niet zulk soort simpele als dit. Aangezien dit forum voor gebruikers met bovengemiddelde kennis is, is dit topic NIET nodig.

Informatie over dit virus is zeker bij de meeste anti-virus cetra te vinden. Daar hebben we dit topic ook niet voor nodig.
