Hoi allemaal,

Eerst dit: ik ben zelf vrijwillige vertaler voor Mandrake en enthousiaste gebruiker van Mandrake Linux.

Momenteel is het zo dat dit Mandrakesoft in financiele moeilijkheden verkeert, een nasleep van slecht management gedurende de bekende ICT-luchtbel. Deze managers zijn er dik een jaar geleden uitgeschopt en sindsdien gaat het qua inkomsten/verliezen enorm veel beter maar men kan nog geen zwarte cijfers schrijven. Dus mijn vraag aan iedereen is, zeker als je Linuxgebruiker bent, of je lid wilt worden van MandrakeClub of wilt investeren in het bedrijf (zie bericht hieronder). Het zou echt ontzettend zonde zijn als Mandrake het niet zou redden!

Vervelend, maar valt dit gewoon niet onder spam

Neuh, spam is reclame voor produkten waar je niet om gevraagd hebt. In het Non-windows forum lijkt me dit wel degelijk on topic.

Ontopic wel ja, maar in het Non-Windows forum is spam ook gewoon spam (en spam is, in tegenstelling tot wat veel mensen ervan denken, ook het grootscheeps "overhalen" tot dergelijke acties). Het is heel vervelend allemaal, maar een massale "cry for help" of "request for support" e.d. hebben heel weinig met de doelstelling van dit forum te maken. Helaas. Het spijt me voor je, maar dit topic gaat - net als een paar topics van een aantal mensen die je voorgingen dit jaar - dicht.

Even voor de duidelijkheid: dit is niet om lullig te doen, maar het is hier een discussieforum met hier en daar hulp voor moeilijk op te lossen problemen met non-Windows operating systems... geen post-maar-raak-voor-een-knaak-als-het-maar-over-linux-gaat forum.
