One of them is the Hitachi CML174. With it's super-low refresh rate, this monitor is specifically made for gaming and fast motion video, as their press release states. After firing up some games on this monitor, it became glaringly clear that the Hitachi CML174 is the best gaming LCD we've ever seen. No questions about it. Considering we've reviewed more LCD monitors than other websites, and we've seen a lot of really great LCD screens come through our offices, being able to thoroughly sweep the competition within the first few minutes is pretty amazing. Gaming performance is simply fantastic. Color reproduction is great and there is for the most part no pixel blurring that we can even see. Even compared to Hitachi's previous generation CML181 monitor, this new CML174 model is improved in the gaming department. We simply can't say enough good things about
