Zo laat ik maar meteen met de url in huis vallen zullen we maar zeggen.
Na de teleurstelling van fallout tactics gaan we misschien toch nog een leuke variant krijgen voor fallout tactics namelijk awaken.
Story line.
War, war, never changes...
Great news about Masters army defeat and mutants base destruction reach far north. People rise up in arms to fight and finally burn out the evil and all freaks from their land. Well, that was almost 30 years ago and nowadays nobody remembers slaughter of those warriors. Without help from Brotherhood they were mostly killed or imprisoned by mutant armies. Life goes on... Now new evil appears. Endangered ghouls decided to build up their own army that leaded by unknown leader would set a new order, new world where humans will become ghoul's slaves. People do not remain passive. Besides the Brotherhood of Steel new organization arise: Soldiers of Hope.
Story: Game starts on 1st of January 2191. You are an inhabitant of the underground vault - Vault 32. Every thing goes ok until now. Few days ago the central computer informs the vault overseer that time has come and the vault door will now open. Residents of vault were now obliged to leave it. But Overseer doesn't tell anybody about that (except of a few trustworthy) and from time to time he sends out a scouts: "volunteers" randomly chosen by a computer. They were supposed to find a save place where they could use a G.E.C.K. and start settlement. Unfortunately no one of those "volunteers" returns. And even worse: you are the next one.
Naar verwachting komen er 15 tot 20 steden in de full version. Wat totaal als je het in 1 keer achter elkaar door zou stomen voor een zekere 30 uur gameplay zal zorgen. Maar de meeste mensen kennende zullen die er wel langer over doen omdat natuurlijk elke quest elk hoekje van het spel moet worden onderzocht.
Je speelt op dezelfde map als die van Fallout tactics maar nieuwe steden random encounters enz. In het totaal zo'n 50 nieuwe locaties.
De quests die er zijn zullen uit f1/f2 komen en natuurlijk zelf verzonnen quests. En niet zoals tactics KILL EM ALL. En zoals het hoort bij fallout zijn er verschillende manieren om de quests op te lossen.
While designing we try to base on F1/F2 settings but to add a bit of realism we increase weapon damage to 200% of base value and inventory weight to 300% of base value (Forget about running with Vindicators and 2000 ammo. Sorry, but no!;)
Bottle caps are valid currency in game. Of course money have they own weight, so you will not carry a lot. However prices are rather low - for 400 bottle caps you can buy 10mm pistol.
Most important things (and most valuable) are: fuel, uranium, ammo, medicines (especially Rad-X and RadAway) and books.
Dit vind ik een erg goeie aanvulling van het spel want bij f2 zat mijn auto dus zo vol dat ie door zijn wielen zou zakken als je het een beetje logish bekijkt (-;
Want als je 50* de weight hebt die je met str 10 en een paar keer pack mule kan dragen en die ligt in je auto, verzin het zelf maar (-:
De tegenstanders zullen uit f1 f2 en ftactics komen, onder andere dus bandit, bounty hunter, raider, highwayman, junker, slaver, press gang member, tribal, ghoul, mutant, super mutant, cockroach, gecko, golden gecko, fire gecko, wild brahmin, dog, wolf, giant rat, deathclaw, radscorpion, mr.handy / sentry bot / security bot.
Er zijn een hoop items uit deel 1 en 2 weer terug gehaald en in deze mod verwerkt en de drugs uit tactics hebben ze eruit gehaald. Want die waren toch niet nuttig (-:

Q1:Does Awaken need FT:BoS or can I play without it? How much disk space is required?
A1:Awaken is a mod so you must have FT:BoS installed to play; It will require about 200 MB of disk space.
Q2:Is it a single or multiplayer mod?
A2:Single, but we are thinking about adding a support for multiplayer (cooperative) play.
Q3.When and where does the game take place?
A3:Place is the same as it was in FT:BoS but you will start earlier – 2197/01/01
Q4:Will there be any interactive dialogs?
A4:No but there will be many speech simulations, based on checking your characters CH or IN and/or one of our abilities. this will affect the way npc's will react on the player
Q5:Will there be any npc able to join the team??
A5:Yes. there will be a possibility to recruit one or more npc's. You will control them in the same way you did in FT
Q6:Any new spirtes, tiles, music?
A6:Yes.
Q7:Can I play as an evil one?
A7:Yes, of course. But it may be a bit harder
The Mod isn't any form of Fallout 3, or any kind of competition for Polish Wasteland, it isn't an Data disk to F1/2. It's just a mod for FT:BoS, which is made by fans of the Fallout series, disappointed by the lack of Fallout 3. Awaken is a single player Mod with it's own storyline and locations.
