We have done an update on a WinNT4.0 workstation sp5 to sp6a. On this machine runs mcafee 4.5.1 and sqlserver 7.0. We also have updated sqlserver with sp 4.
We let de sqlserverservice and the sqlagentservice start when the OS start and also the systemscan from mcafee is enable after boot.
After the update sp6a and sp4 the sqlagent is trying the start after a (re)boot but we get no error and also the mcafee screen is fixed on the screen. When we stop the sqlserver the mcafee screen disapear but the systemscan is disabled.
After manualy starting the sqlserver/sqlserveragent and enable the system scan erverything works. But after a reboot the same situation appears.
I have found a article about this problem, Q306655 at technet.
Is there someone who have another solution for this problem?
Thanks
