[openoffice] Verschil tussen macro openoffice en ms office

Wat is het verschil tussen een macro die in openoffice zit en een macro die in Microsoft Windows zit? Volgens mij kun je de macro's uit ms office niet gebruiken voor open office. Zal dit in de toekomst gesupport worden?

Wat is precies een marco in Windows? Open Office draait prima onder Windows, daar werkt OO-scriptig dus ook . Maar als je MS Office-scripting bedoelt.... macro's in MS Office zijn geschreven in VB-script, en die in OpenOffice in.... OO-script??? Dus ze zijn (waarschijnlijk) niet automatisch om te zetten, maar uiteraard wel te herschrijven, wat heel veel werk is.
Ik geloof dat er op SourceForge wel een project is dat een VB-interpreter aan het maken is, maar of die in OpenOffice geïntegreerd kan worden, en of ze dat ook gaan doen... waarschijnlijk niet.

StarOffice is compatible with many Microsoft file formats, but cannot import Visual Basic (VB) macros from Microsoft Office documents. One IT manager said Microsoft had probably not allowed Sun to support VB in StarOffice.
