Ik ben op zoek naar de driver voor de aha 2920 scsi controller voor windows xp
Op www.adaptec.com hebben ze hem niet. Hoe krijg ik deze pci kaart aan de gang onder windows xp?

You can force WinXP to use NT4 or 2000 drivers by using the files scsi.inf/scsi.pnf (from windows \inf directory) and Fd16_700.sys (from \system32\drivers dir) from the older OS'es. Put those 2 driverfiles in the same directory somewhere, and point your installer to the scsi.inf file when asked. After chewing on the scisi.inf file for a while, it will present you with alist of devices, chooste your Adaptec AHA2920. XP will warn you that the driver is not tested and approved, but this will never happen, since the Adaptec card has been discontinued, and Adaptec would love you to buy their latest offerings instead. Click the "Kiss My Ass" button and proceed with the install anyway. It will install and use the older non-XP-approved file. Therefore using the older driver is the only option, other than buing a new SCSI card.
