Dear,
Can someone tell me where the Mac OS finder stores the viewing
preferences of folders that reside on Appleshare servers ?
In practise: I would like my folders to ALWAYS appear in LIST view, not
in ICON view.
I would like to modify or instruct my finder to take the LIST view ALWAYS.
But each time I sign-off and sign back on to the several ( Apple and
Novell NetWare) fileservers, the folders default back to ICON view.
We have thousands of files, and I need a BRIEF and ALPHABETICAL listing..
icon view consumes far to many computing resources. It takes up to 25
minutes to open some folders.
How can i either:
- modify the FINDER on my Mac OS 9
or
- modify / influence the folder's preferencesn in a way that they are
WRITTEN to disk and remembered next time.

You may post in dutch, by all means, thank you very much.
Your topic has been posted across several forums, we do not particularly like that. So if you would be so kind as to speak dutch from now on and post your topics in one forum and one forum only, that would be greatly appreciated. This topic has been closed.

Het zal wel niet, maar het zou maar wel.
