NV Refreshtool VS Battlefield 1942

Hi guys,
Maybe you can help me with a very annoying problem.
I tried the NV Refreshtool 2.0 on this site:

It works perfect. That is, the refresh is good now in my games.
Only when I try to run Battlefield 1942 it doesn't start at all.
I know it's because of the refreshtool, because when I reinstalled Windows XP Pro, this was the first game I installed. I installed every update and the SP1 of Windows XP.
I started the game for the first time and I saw it was running at 60Hz. Oh yeah, I thought, I still have to run the refreshtool.
I installed it, congigured it and rebooted the system.
Next time I started playing Battlefield it crashed.
Can anyone help me with this problem.
I have to change some registry settings for this I guess. I want to return them to default settings...
Does anyone know WHICH settings in the registry this tool changes???

(I tried uninstalling the tool, but it doesn't change anything)
