help- Internal file number does not match position

Ik hoop dat iemand de oplossing weet:

Mijn tweede HD geeft fouten in PartitionMagic (PM):

Error 1555 Internal file number does not match position
This problem can be resolved by running CHKDSK /F on the affected drive. Sometimes it must be run multiple times to resolve this error. If running under Windows 2K/XP a CHKDSK can be run from the recovery console to fix files that may not otherwise be fixable.

Cause(s) of the problem:
The file number stored in the header of an NTFS file does not match the file's position in the file table.

De fouten zijn waarschijnlijk ontstaan toen ik twee partities wilde samenvoegen en de computer crashte.

Het problem is dat ik niet CheckDisk kan starten in PartitionMagic, maar ook niet in 'Mijn Computer'. De HD staat er niet bij! Hij wordt wel gezien in PM en in de boot, dus de aansluitingen zijn wel goed.

Formateren zal misschien wel lukken, maar en staat iets van 20GIG op dat ik niet kwijt wil.

Wie heeft een oplossing?

n.b. WinXp, NTFS. HD is slave, 2 partities. Rest zie specs

ga naar disk management toe ( recktsklik op My Computer, dan Manage/Beheren kiezen), dan naar disk management, dan je partitie/harddisk een driveletter toekennen en tenslotte chkdsk op deze partitie/schijf uitvoeren
