[Win2K] DirectX rechten probleem met black & white

ik ben adminstrator op deze pc PIII 800 win2k sp3 directx 8.1
mijn broertje is hoofdgebruiker omdat hij anders geen spellen kan installeren en toch geen dingen kan slopen.


het probleem:

mijn broertje wil black & white spelen onder zijn windows 2000 accountje installeren gaat goed. Aan het einde krijgt hij de melding dat minimaal directx 7 of hoger vereist is, dus hij vraagt dit aan mij wat hij moet doen. Ik zeg natuurlijk anuleren omdat direct X 8.1 al geïnstalleerd is.
Als hij het spel start krijg hij de melding dat minimaal directX 7 vereist is en het spel sluit.
start ik black en white echter met "run as" als adminstrator dan werkt het WEL.

mijn vraag:

uiteraard hoe los ik dit op
mij broertje administrator rechten geven is geen optie natuurlijk...
ik heb al wel geprobeerd een administrator account aan te maken waar mee niet lokaal of via het netwerk mag worden ingelogd, zodat hij dan "run as" daar mee kan doen, maar dat werkt niet omdat de gebruiker niet lokaal mag inloggen.;(

iemand suggesties?

Runas

Dit in een batchfiletje de juiste commando's gebruiken en testen En dan bedoel ik dat je dit gebruikt vanaf de cmd prompt (start >> run >> cmd [enter])

tja het vervelende van zo'n batch file is natuurlijk wel dat ie daar dan het admin password uit kan halen...
ik zal trouwens eens kijken op de site van black en white, misschien staat daar idd iets. bedankt voor de tip iig

ik weet niet hoe oud jou broertje is maar de meeste broertjes (lees 11 jaar of jonger) weten het niet echt. Beter gezegd ik weet het ook niet

tja mijn broertje wel helaas hadden we het nou over mijn zusje...

Hmm ik ga maar effe een vb progje schrijven wat dat doet ofzo, snaptie alweer een stuk minder snel

hmm minder grappig is dat je geen password kunt opgeven in de batch file
