Asus P4PE RAID verduidelijking voor ik koop.

Ik snap niets van onderstaande zinnetje. Wat ik specifiek wil weten is dat mijn 2 Maxtor schijven (UDMA133 ATA) in raid stripeset kunnen en dat ik daarmee als hoogste snelheid 60Mb/s-80Mb/s haal. Want ik heb ééns gezien dat 1 poort de helft trager is dan 2 poorten bij stripeset.

You'll have to configure a Master/Slave setup if you are going the EIDE RAID route, which is less than optimal in terms of performance. Regardless, this is a great feature, one that will prove to be even more valuable as SATA hard drives become more prevalent in the market place

lijkt erop dat alleen s-ata hd's in raid opgesteld kunnen worden.
