TweakNT is a utility that allows you to remove the timebomb and change the edition of any NT OS.

As well as removing the timebomb it also includes an advanced ntswitching feautre, which allows you to switch your OS from, for example XP Pro, to XP home or even to .NET Web, Std, Dtc or Ent (see the screenshot below, it makes more sense than this incessant rambling)
