Direct3d niet beschikbaar

Toen ik vanavond mijn counter-strike opstartte had ik opeens een ping van 600 en maar 5 fps. Ik heb een athlon 1 Ghz met een Matrox G400 max. OS = win2k. Dit is wat ik geprobeerd heb:
1) Nieuwe drivers geinstalleerd van matrox -> 5.85
2) Nieuwe directx geinstalleerd 8.1b
3) Nieuwe via 4 in 1 drivers
4) virusscanner geupdate (mcafee) en een virusscan gedaan
5) halflife + counter-strike volledig opnieuw geinstalleerd

Toen ik net dxdiag ging checken kwam ik tot de conclusie dat mijn direct3d 'not available' was. Ik weet niet of dat ook al het geval was voordat ik die updates gedaan heb. Ik kan wel spelen met software-mode op 640x480 maar opengl of direct3d lukt niet (4 fps en 600 ping). Heeft iemand enig idee hoe ik direct3d weer fatsoenlijk aan de gang krijg?

ps: ohja, opeens doen alle spellen heel vreemd (ut, mohaa, colin mcrae, cs)..

Je kunt eens proberen om eerst oude drivers en DirectX versies te verwijderen en dan de nieuwe te installeren. Zou je trouwens je virusscanner voor het spelen niet afsluiten?
Als alle spellen het hebben ligt het waarschijnlijk niet aan de spellen, dus die hoef je niet opnieuw te installeren.
Meest voor de hand liggende oorzaak is DirectX; dus die maar eens volledig verwijderen en opnieuw installeren...

kweet wat het is, hep ik ook gehad, check dit:

Check that your Direct3D works in other applications, for example other games, or by using the "dxdiag.exe" application that comes with your system (Run->dxdiag; select Display tab, click on "Test Direct3D"). You should get a "Direct3D test results: All tests were successful." message. If not, there is something wrong in your system config. We recommend you manually uninstall your graphics card drivers, install them again and then reinstall DirectX8.1, this helps for most of our users.

/dxapplet.zip Place the .cpl file in your windows?system folder. Reboot, Open control panel, click on directX, go to Direct3d tab, uncheck then recheck "allow hardware acceleration", click apply.

Ik heb die dxdiag al geprobeeerd en daar is de knop Direct3D GRIJS! Echt heel vreemd!

Ik heb mijn virusscanner altijd aan en ik heb nooit problemen gehad met spellen. Is nu opeens....pretty strange.

Die dingen zijn dus "gewoon" niet beschikbaar. Ligt volgens mij dus aan een instelling van mijn matrox G400 Max. Maar ik heb eerder nooit iets in hoeven te stellen en ik zou ook niet weten waar dat mogelijk is.

Ik heb directx meerdere keren opnieuw geinstalleerd (niet geuninstalled want ik zou niet weten waar en hoe dat kan). Dat hielp ook niet.

K, Ik heb jouw tips ook geprobeerd, meerdere malen met meerdere reboots maar dat werkte ook niet. Mijn scherm in DxDiag blijft uitzien zoals hierboven staat.

Probeer andere drivers, daar zit het hem in!

Voor alle wijsneuzen (AaroN en CK) die hier zo hard van die onzin schreeuwen(als je eens goed zou lezen); Het lijkt erop dat het volgende het probleem is, Netmeeting 3.01 en het ingebouwde Desktop Sharing gedoe onder win2k zorgt ervoor dat AGP en Direct3D uitgeschakeld wordt. Zoiets verzin je toch niet?!

ps: ik moet het nog ff testen...ik heb goede moed

BINGO!!! Ik zal jullie de oplossing maar niet besparen...

Why is my Direct3D and/or AGP disabled in Windows2000?

- This will occur if you have Netmeeting 3.01 running. Since NetMeeting 3.01 is built in to Windows 2000, it cannot be removed. The DESKTOP SHARING element of NetMeeting DISABLES DIRECT3D and in most cases, also disables AGP automatically. To reenable Direct3D and/or AGP, do the following: - enable desktop sharing by using the desktop sharing wizard. - right-click on the Desktop sharing icon (NOT the Netmeeting icon) in the taskbar and choose "Exit". - go back into the desktop sharing configuration and disable Desktop Sharing. - reboot. Direct3D and/or AGP should be restored. If your desktop icons are now in 16 color, go into display properties, click on the Effects tab, disable "display icons in all possible colors", click Apply, enable "display icons in all possible colors", click "Apply" again and your colors should be restored

Dit is het antwoord dat ik moest hebben.

1) Al vaker dit probleem gehad
2) Gister netmeeting opgestart,crashte mijn pc ineens
a) 16kleuren icoontjes
b) GEEN direct3d meer
c) Bij dxdiag d3d disabled,kon ik het naderhand niet meer aanzetten
d) Kapot gezocht naar oplossingen/drivers en shit
e) GoT is da best

Fijn voor je dat je een oplossing hebt, maar dit is niet echt een nuttige manier om zo'n oud topic te schoppen
