Het probleem :
root@whore ~ # tail -f /var/log/messages
Sep 4 23:00:00 whore newsyslog[17294]: logfile turned over
en elke dag 4 mails :
newsyslog: can't notify daemon, pid 77461: No such process
newsyslog: log /var/log/maillog not compressed because daemon not notified
ps x :
root 91 0.0 0.3 952 348 ?? Is 15Aug02 0:25.58 /usr/sbin/syslogd -s
restarten doet niveel
Heb search gebruikt en ben het nergens tegen gekomen, google same.
