Logitech wingman extreme werkt niet onder XP

Sinds ik winXP heb geinstalleerd wordt mijn logitech wingman extreme niet meer herkend . Hij zit op mijn sb audigy, maar op mijn live deed hij het ook niet onder xp. Ook niet na installeren van de laatste drivers . En da's toch jammer. Ik ben niet van plan om een andere joystick te kopen....

je ziet wel een joystick/gameport staan bij je apparaatbeheer?

bij mijn neefjes was toen die gameport niet goed geinstalleerd, waardoor de joystick gewoon niet herkend werd

nee, ook dat niet. Hij ziet helemaal niks. Terwijl mijn gameport (volgens windows in ieder geval) wel goed werkt....

en een andere joystick proberen? of die joystick op een andere pc?
weet je wel of het aan je gameport ligt of aan die joystick

Ik heb ongeveer hetzelfde probleem, maar dan onder Win2k.

Die Wingman Software detecteert mijn stickje dus ook niet, maar je kan hem wel toevoegen onder het configuratiescherm, en daar dan Spelbesturingen.

Je stickje zal wel werken, maar die Wingman Profiler software zal het niet doen. Als je op de site van Logitech had gaan kijken had je gezien dat enkel de drivers werken onder 2k en XP, en niet de extra software.

Is the game setup to use a gamepad, joystick, or wheel? This is usually found somewhere in the game's menu system. Often times there is an option for "Controller Config", etc.

Verify that the game controller is functioning correctly using the "Gaming Options" panel. Are all of the axes, buttons, and forces (if applicable) working?

Is the game controller you are trying to use assigned as ID1? A fair amount of games on the market only poll devices that are assigned as ID1. When the game programmers take their time and pay attention to detail, then this is usually not an issue.

If the above items are done, and seem to be ok, then you may want to contact the game manufacturer. The contact information for each company is usually in the game's manual somewhere."

Gebruik je trouwens de WingMan® Software v4.20 wel?

Ik "hoop" dat jouw probleem erin bestaat dat je je Wingman niet detecteert bij het installeren van de Wingman Software. Want dan valt er niet veel aan te doen

Dus die seriële (gamepoort op soundcard) worden niet ondersteund door de profiler software.

Ik heb mijn WingMan Extreme Digital met de standaarddrivers van WinXP prima draaien hier via een SoundBlaster 512 PCI...

hey ik kan dit probleem met je delen bij mij doet i ook niets ook al heb ik de Xp drivers geinstalleerd.

Het vage is dat bij een vriend van me die dezelfde problemen had, als je compatibilieit op win98/me zet het bij hem wel werkt. Maar bij mij dus niet. Ook niet met de laatste drivers / wingmansoftware.En in een andere (niet winXP) pc draait het als een speer . Lekker vaag dus. En rete irritant dat er nu in ene geen ondersteuning meer is vanuit Logitech . Zijn er losse poorten te krijgen o.i.d.? Of een verloopje naar USB o.i.d. dat het toch werkt?

Onder WinXP kan ik em wel toevoegen (staat er standaard in bij mij) echter de gashendel en de 2 knoppen op de base krijg ik met geen mogelijkheid aan het werk. Gewoon toegevoegd onder spelbesturingen, hangt aan een SB128
