Er staat in deze post:

een vrij kort bericht over het feit dat er een foto van de Athlon XP 2700+ online is gegooid, echter er ontstaat in de reacties die op deze post volgen nogal wat ophef over het gele streeepje, misschien was het handig geweest de source (http://www.hardocp.com/index.html#5323-1) te quoten met het volgende:

While yes, I have personally done some Photoshop work on this picture to hide some of the chips identifying features, what is important to look at is above the thick yellow line. Notice the last letter in the code is a "D". Now check out the OPN chart and you will notice that the current "C" is 266MHz and if you look back you will find that the "B" was 200MHz. Also worth noting is that this is certainly not a Barton core with double the current L2 cache as shown in the part number as well. We will have to wait for the 2800+ to see that.

Of dit misschien alsnog te doen, want hoewel het nu te laat is had het een hele boel ophef gescheeld.

Achja, iedere keer is er ook wel weer iemand die een opmerking maakt over het feit dat er "1999" op de core staat.

Helaas is mijn ervaring dat domme/ondoordachte reacties altijd zullen komen, hoeveel info je ook in het artikel zet. Sommige zo erg dat ik 110% zekerheid kan zeggen dat ze de tekst niet eens vluchtig doorgekeken hebben. Dus ik denk niet dat het nut heeft om dat stukje toe te voegen.
