dit is de reactie die ik van blizzard heb gekregen (makers van het betreffende spel)
We are aware of various display related problems that stem from video driver
incompatibilities, corrupted drivers and incorrect drivers being installed.
We have tested Diablo II on almost every major video card available and
normally the most current drivers for the card work fine. Even if you are
absolutely sure that the drivers you have are the most current drivers
available, please double check AND reinstall them.
Contact your video card/chipset manufacturer and ask the following
questions:
- What version of DirectX is compatible with your video card/chipset?
- What driver should you install?
The Microsoft DirectX program can be found here:
(
http://www.microsoft.com/...ser/downloads/default.asp)
Since you have an ATI video card/chipset, check (
http://www.ati.com) for
your drivers.
If you continue to experience problems please keep an eye on:

If you still have trouble after updating and/or reinstalling the video card
driver, then you should run the game in DirectDraw (2D) mode for now and
check periodically for new drivers from the manufacturer. To run the game
in DirectDraw (2D), go in your Diablo II folder, double-click on the
d2vidtst.exe and choose 2D for your video mode. In our experience, most
cards should work fine in a Direct3D mode with the current drivers available
now. However, we are aware that there will be cases where directdraw will
be the best option until newer drivers are available.
If you need assistance finding, downloading, or installing your video
card/chipset drivers please contact the manufacturer of your video
card/chipset for more information.
Sincerely,
Rick S.
