Branden doet vaag?!

Twee weken geleden geleden heb ik een nieuwe harde schijf (20gb) gekocht.
Deze heb ik samen met mn andere (60gb) harde schijf op de Primaire IDE kabel gegooit. Mn dvd-cdrom-speler en cd-writer staan op de 2ndaire kabel. Afgelopen 2 weken heb ik een paar cd's gebrand zonder enig probleem, maar NU stopt het writen heel erg vaak (indicatie: 9 uit 10x). Ik gebruik Nero 55572 en WindowsXP Pro.

Ik copy btw altijd on the fly! Komt het doordat de dvdrom en writer op 1kabel zitten?! Wat moet ik doen?!

Als je veel on the fly wilt branden is het niet slim om je brander en lezer op dezelfde ide kabel te zetten.. Dan kun je beter 1 schijf en 1 cdrom-device op 1 kabel zetten.

Dus ff de kabels switchen moet werken, maar als ik dat doe krijg ik een melding in "bios-scherm" dat er 1 of andere 80 conductor cable er niet is & werkt mn 20 gig HD niet...

wat is het beste btw?

als je veel vanaf hd naar cd brandt: dan hd op primary en brander op secondary ide

als je veel van cd naar cd brandt: dan cdrom/dvd op een andere ide dan writer

edit: wat voor brander heb je? als die burnproof is zal bovenstaande niet zoveel uitmaken is mijn ervaring

edit2: laat maar ik zie dat het een lite-on is, ik heb dezelfde. probeer eens een cd te branden als je eerst een image file op je hd zet gaat het dan wel goed?
