Na een test op http://www.tomshardware.c.../020722/intel845g-08.html te hebben gelezen was ik toch wel erg benieuwd naar de prijs van dit prachtige bordje (hoogste aanbeveling door Tom). Ik kan het echter nergens vinden...
Heel toevallig vond ik op Anandtech in het forum deze wonderbaarlijke tekst:
"After I could not locate any place to buy the board from I searched the web of course. After finding Gigabytes US web page referencing the board ( http://www.giga-byte.com/products/8igxp.htm ) and another site that said the release date for the US market was the end of July. Since the date at this point was 7/30/02, I got more determined and called Gigabyte's California office and asked a sales person there if the board was available from the manufacturer, but he was unaware of the 8igxp's existance. I pointed him to the webpage with product specs and to his suprise there was the 8igxp in all its glory. When I asked again when the release date was he said he would have to transfer me to the marketing department. After being transfered I spoke with a person about the board and again they were unaware of the board so I pointed her to the webpage."
