ECS K7S5A verdwijnt binnenkort

Voor die die nog dit mooie budget-plankje willen kopen snel zijn dus.
Ik baseer dit op het volgende:
vorige week las ik al over de ECS K7S5A+, dit is dus de opvolger met een sis745 chipset ipv de sis735. 'Boze tongen' beweren dat ecs dit doet omdat ze blijven zitten met de sis745 chipsetjes omdat de ECS K7S6A niet goed verkoopt. De belangrijkste reden daarvoor is dat het bord niet echt beter is dan de ECS K7S5A en de beloofde ddr333 ondersteuning niet echt waarmaakt.(ECS K7S5A+ zit dus een sis745)
vandaag stond er dit op ocworkbench:
ECS K7S5A+ is the enhanced edition of the K7S5A. Surprisingly enough, the new K7S5A+ uses SiS745 A1 stepping chipset rather than the previous SiS 735 chipset. Instead of the AMI BIOS, it uses the Award BIOS. This also eliminates the problem of no S3/STR support on the earlier model K7S5A. It has 3 DDR slots which is similar to the K7S6A. It will support the newer Throughbred processors. AC97 Audio Codec (CMI9738, 4 Channels) and 10/100 Mbps LAN using RealTek 8100B (optional)

The FSB can be set at 100/103/107/110/112/124/133/137/143/147/150/160MHz. As for the Vcore it can be set from 1.100 - the 1.850V with the 0.025v intervals. Multiplier range is from 5x to 12x.

Wat is/wordt dan precies het verschil met de K7S6A?

Wordt dus in feite gewoon een ECS K7S6A met LAN, want die 2 SDRAM slots die je met de K7S5A had mis je dan ook.

als ik strax weer een systeem met tweedehands SDRAM verkoop, gaat mn K7S5A gewoon plaats maken voor een K7S5A+
