[slack8.0] problems upgrading openssh

ik heb vanaf www.linuxpackages.net de nieuwe openssh afgehaalt. Netjes via upgradepkg geinstalleert.

ff server gereboot. dus ik login op ssh, staat er meteen weer dat ie disconnect.

kijk ik in m'n syslog, staat er hetvolgende

code:

en ik vind dit in me /var/log/messages

en dit gaat nog wel ff door.

nu heb ik de oude ssh weer geinstalleert en ik heb geen problemen meer..

As mentioned in the README.privsep, if the o/s lacks mmap or anonymous
memory mapping, compression must be disabled.

So you just need to change your config line to:

Compression no

and it should work.

Waarom haal je de officiele Slackware-8.0 versie eigenlijk niet. Die staat op de ftp in de directory onder patches in slackware-8.0.

dat wist ik dus niet. Ik haal bijna alles van linuxpackages.net
