CD boot prob's

I got a verry big prob. I used WinXP cd-boot function while installing it. Put my pri bootdevice on cd-rom and installed in my hp with no problem. Now 2 months later i want to install Linux 7.3(valhalla) on a 2nd HD. I replaced the 40 gig HD with a 4 gig HD and did the same thing to my bios as with the WinblowsXP install. But now xept a nice install screen i get a "no bootdisk found please enter bootdisk" error. i tried all sorts of diverend boot sequences but still nothing. I also entered my WinXP cd that i used with my original install but it gives the same errors in both CD-rom's... Please help.

CPU:Athlon 1.2 Ghz
Mainboard: Abit kt7a
CD-WR: HP CD-Writer 9500
DVD-Rom: Samsung SD-612f
Harddisk: Samsung 40000 MB 7200 RPS and Seagate 4303MB 5400 RPM

Men wil hier graag de vragen in het Nederlands.
Dit lijkt echter meer op een multi-forum vraag.
