IBM Thinkpad A21m Shutdown probleem - Overige hardware

Ik heb een IBM Thinkpad A21m en sinds kort in Windows 2000 als ik een shutdown wil uitvoeren dat blijft hij hangen in een soort van DOS venster met alleen links bovenin een knipperende cursor.

Hij hoort automatisch uit te gaan maar dat gebeurt dus niet.
Ik heb een BIOS update uitgevoerd maar dat mocht niet baten.

Iemand een oplossing voor mijn probleem?

Denk dat het meer aan windows dan aan de hardware ligt.
Zoek maar eens op 'afsluitprobleem windows' oid.

Klint bekend, heb het probleem gehad met een aantal IBM desktops (Netvista) met nt based os. Ibm heeft daar een proggie voor; softoff.
