Hi,
I have recently purchased a BR6004+ router/switch. I use it connect my broadband internet connection to 3 PCs (1 Dell 2GHz, 1 Dell 300MHz, and 1 Dell 233 Laptop), all running Windows XP Pro. My Problem is as follows:
When one of the PCs looses the connection (i.e. due to reboot, or an IPCONFIG /RELEASE), it cannot get an IP from DHCP.
If I try to force a IPCONFIG /RENEW, the PC gets a "fake" address from a windows default. I also cannot ping the gateway (192.168.168.230).
The only way to get the PC back on the network is to shut ALL the PCs on the network, power the switch off and on, then restart the PC's.
Then everything is OK till one of the PC's must reboot again...
I have firmware version 1.11 (when I telnet to the router, I see Router Manager Console Version: 1.11).
Any ideas how to solve the DHCP problem?
