IRQ probleempje

Met mijn tweede pc heb ik het probleem dat zo'n beetje alle devices dezelfde irq (9) hebben.

Systeem:
Asus A7V133
Athlon B 1200
512MB geheugen
Asus V7700
3* 3Com 3c905x (combo kaarten)
Terratec XMS XFire 1024
1* Maxtor 7200 RPM 40GB disk
2* Maxtor 5400 RPM 80GB disk
Draait w2000 SP2 op.

Als ik de IRQ's met Sisoft bekijk dan hebben de volgende apparaten dezelfde IRQ (9):
Ultra ATA 100 controller
alle 3 de 3Com nics (zitten niet in slot 4 en 5)
Asus v7700 kaart
terratec Xfire

Het vreemde is dat de ata66 controllers gewoon irq 14 en 15 hebben en dat er nog 6 of 7 irq's vrij zijn.

dat komt door ACPI

maarre werkt er iets niet goed? want als het allemaal werkt heb je geen probleem dunkt mij.

Het probleem is dat als 1 netwerkkaart druk is de andere maar 64Kb kunnen verstouwen, dit is nou net niet de reden om er 3 nic's in te stoppen .

Even verder gelezen dan mijn neus lang was (stond in de FAQ ). Maar weet dan iemand waar ik dat ACPI geneuzel kan uitschakelen???

If you do have problems with ACPI and are unable to run your system properly, below is the correct procedure to change your system from the ACPI Hardware Abstraction Layer to the Standard PC/APM HAL:

NOTE: This procedure works only when installing from a CD-ROM. When installing from the four boot floppies included with Windows 2000, a problem in the installation program prevents the installation of a third-party HAL.

Insert your Win2K CDROM, and start Windows Setup as an Upgrade.

To select a HAL during Setup:

1-During the first phase of Setup, at the Setup is inspecting you computer's hardware configuration screen, press the F5 key.

2-Select the Standard PC

3-Continue with Setup to complete the installation.

4-You will not lose your system settings or installed programs/applications using this method

Maar is het niet mogelijk om ACPI uit te schakelen als windows al geinstalleerd is??

Wat ook kan is in Device Manager, onder Computer de ACPI PC veranderen (bij Driver, Update Driver doen) in een Standard PC. Dan schakel je ook ACPI uit in XP.
