op zich wel vet, alleen ziet de site er beetje onproffesioneel uit of niet? tenminste die indruk krijg ik!
maar als iemand zich als contact persoon inschrijft is goed toch

Nog weinig stats te zien en daar gaat het natuurlijk om. Hoe lang zou het gaan duren. Heb ff snel gelezen, maar volgens mij is het net zoiets als SETI, oftewel gaat door totdat er geen users meer zijn bij wijze van zeggen.

Kost je 600 MB aan HD ruimte....
Mijn schijf zit al maanden (te) vol...

To be able to install and run such simulation on your PC, we recommend the following minimum system specifications:

Operating System: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows NT 4.0

Processor: Athlon, PII, PIII, PIV

Speed: Min 450MHz. Preferably 700+

Memory: Min 128 MB at this stage. (64MB may be enough but we havn't tested) for use
Of course this will use more electricity which leads to emissions of greenhouse gases. However, the electricity usage is amall and we think this problem is sufficiently important to justify it. (Energy use of the experiment.)


Disk space: Need 600MB free to allocate to this experiment.

Internet: Any type of connection needed to (i) download the model and (ii) send us back result at the end of the run

ik denk dat een hoop tweakertjes thuis en P100 routertje inzetten bij Distributed Computing, en daar hebbie hier niks aan.

Ze zijn idd wel een beetje snel hun nieuwsberichtje.

Een blik op de site leert je al snel dat er eigenlijk nog niks is behalve het idee en een beta-beta client. Geen stats, geen duidelijkheid.

Het idee, rekenen voor een beter klimaat spreekt me wel aan.

Ze staan nu ook aan, een of andere code te breken waarvan het nut ook nog te betwijfelen is (Rc5 comp. that is).

Maar goed, eerst een goede client (a la d.net client) en mooie stats.
