Ik weet niet of ik deze topic mag posten, maar dat zien we dan wel weer...
Ik heb een Samsung DVD-speler gekocht van het type M405. Het schijnt dat je deze DVD-speler heel simpel regiovrij kan maken door een stel codes in te voeren...
- Heeft iemand deze codes??
- En vervalt je garantie als je hem regiovrij maakt??

This hack should also work on the Thompson DTH-3600, DTH-4000, DTH-4200, DTH-4500, DTH-5200, Hitachi DV-P305e, DV-P315e and Samsung DVD-M105, DVD-M205, DVD-M405, DVD-511, DVD-709, DVD-809, DVD-909, DVD-611 and DVD-811 players. If the language option doesn't appear on your Samsung player then you could attempt the Samsung V5000 hack listed below.

Switch on unit and ensure no disc is in the machine. Press and hold the 'Play' and 'Stop' buttons on the players fascia until the language menu appears then release. Choose the desired local language from the menu. Press 'Repeat' then enter one of the codes below for the native region the player is already set to:-



Region 1: '2', '9', '3', '3', '4'

Region 2: '3', '8', '7', '6', ''7'

Region 3: '5', '6', '7', '3', '2'

Region 4: '7', '6', '8', '8', '4'

Region 5: '5', '3', '8', '1', '4'

Region 6: '2', '4', '4', '6', '2'



A code will appear indicating the region setting of your player. Press '9' for region free, '1' for region 1, '2' for region 2 etc. Press the 'Open/Close' button on the player to open the tray. Press 'Standby' on the remote to close the tray. When the player is turned back on it will set to the new region. If the player subsequently freezes on the FBI warnings then press the 'Forward Search x2' to skip.

Choose the desired local language from the menu. Press 'Repeat' then enter one of the codes below for the native region the player is already set to:-

ALFA: Ik heb hiervoor al enkele spelers gehad, maar deze is echt tegek! Duurzaamheid heb ik nog niet kunnen beoordelen, maar alles voelt soliede en bedrouwbaar aan. Ook de afstandsbediening is soliede, logisch en ligt lekker in de hand; de knoppen zitten waar je ze nodig hebt! Dit is dezelfde speler dan thompson en hitachie, en wat ze je ook vertellen, hij kan eenvoudig regiovrij gemaakt worden. Ik heb het getest, (29 keer achter elkaar, dus hij 'lockt' ook niet). 1. geen cd erin, lade dicht. 2. zet het apparaat aan, logo verschijnt. 3. druk op repeat (dus niet repeat a-b) en vervolgens op 57538. 4. linksboven verschijnt kort de regio (02). Druk nu snel op de gewenste regio (9 = regiovrij) 5. doe nu meteen de cd-lade open en wacht 15 seconden. 6. druk op power on/standby op de afstands-bediening. Nu is hij regio-vrij. En het mag niet nee

Van mij wel hoor. En je garantie kan inderdaad vervallen, alleen lijkt het me sterk dat ze kunnen ruiken dat jij regio's aan het switchen bent geweest. Garantie die vervalt omdat je op knopjes op je AB drukt lijkt me ook vrij zwak "rechtmatig gezien".

Zolang je niet gaat solderen, is er geen probleem. Ik heb mijn philips DVD712 ook zelf regiovrij gemaakt, en als-ie stuk is en ik krijg een probleem met de garantie, dan kunnen ze verwachten dat ik veel stampij ga maken. (Ik weet het erger, de winkel waar ik hem gekocht heb, heeft nu een regiovrije philips 752, omdat ik die eerst een weekje in huis had en die ook regiovrij gemaakt had, zonder dat ze het weten , goed nieuws voor de volgende klant, scheelt 'm weer 50 euro ).
